The ‘Basic Principles for Increasing Security in a Mobile Computing Program’ whitepaper is aimed at Chief Information Officers and IT departments, explaining how companies can combine the flexibility of mobile devices while maintaining security.

Mobile network traffic management specialist Bytemobile has published its latest quarterly Mobile Analytics Report, which looks into the ways consumers use mobile devices.
The current report pays particular attention to tablet usage and video content.

LG’s quad-core Optimus 4X HD smartphone, which was revealed at Mobile World Congress in February, will go on sale from next month. It’ll launch in Western Europe, followed by other markets in the next few months.
The Android-powered handset runs an NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor and has a 4.7-inch display.

A survey of US consumers by ABI Research has found that around two-thirds of app users have spent money on at least one application, with these people spending an average of $14 per month.
However, a closer analysis reveals a wide difference between lower and higher spending consumers.
