Ericsson has published the latest version of its Mobility Report, which shows that the total number of mobile subscriptions is expected to exceed the world’s population next year.
The first quarter of 2014 saw mobile subscriptions grow by 7% year-on-year, with 120 million net additions.

The company is planning to develop a collection of resources as part of Project Ion, including a secure cloud-based platform to manage data from connected devices.

M2M technology transforms parking in Pisa

The Smart City is on its way. All over the world more and more cities are connecting all areas of their infrastructure. Pisa in Tuscany, for example, aims to improve its traffic management with a machine-to-machine (M2M) solution and a Big Data service provided by Deutsche Telekom.
