The Indian government is asking the country's mobile networks not to support Nokia's new email service without implementing a monitoring system. It's previously asked RIM to provide a similar option for BlackBerry email users.

Microsoft has confirmed that the 'phantom data' problem affecting a small percentage of Windows Phone 7 customers is being caused by Yahoo! Mail.
The company, which recommends adjusting email settings on the phone to reduce the amount of data used, says a Microsoft/Yahoo fix will be rolled out in the coming weeks.
