Juniper Research estimates that 230 million smartphones were shipped worldwide during April, May and June this year.
That’s an increase of almost 50% from the same quarter last year and almost 13% up from the previous quarter.

PC, smartphone and tablet producer Lenovo has launched the Lenovo Enterprise App Shop; a business-focussed application store designed to help corporate users to use productivity apps on their Lenovo tablet or other any other compatible Android-based tablet.
The Lenovo app shop allows companies to create their own tablet application shops, with available apps chosen and licensed by IT managers.
