Intel Corporation has announced two new mobile-related deals for its Intel Atom processor. There’ll be a new handset from Lenovo and what’s described as “a multi-year, multi-device strategic relationship” with Motorola Mobility.
The company says several smartphones based on the new Atom processor are expected to be released in 2012, with the Motorola deal also including the possibility of tablets.

Lenovo has announced a family of tablets that'll be available in the next few months. There'll be the consumer-focussed IdeaPad Tablet K1, the business-targeted ThinkPad Tablet and the IdeaPad Tablet P1 for home and office use.
The IdeaPad Tablet K1 and ThinkPad Tablets will run Android 'Honeycomb' v3.1, while the Tablet P1 will use Microsoft Windows 7.

PC manufacturer Lenovo says it’s establishing a new business unit called the Mobile Internet and Digital Home Business Group.
The MIDH will be responsible for creating mobile internet-focused devices, including tablets and smartphones, as well as cloud computing, smart TV and digital home products.
