This week’s CES show has seen Huawei unveil what it’s described as the world’s slimmest smartphone.
The Huawei Ascend P1 S will be 6.68mm thin with a dual-core 1.5GHz processor and a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.

Microsoft and LG Electronics have signed a patent agreement that covers LG’s Android mobile phones and tablets under Microsoft’s patent portfolio.
It’s a wide-reaching deal that builds on an existing agreement and also covers any other LG consumer devices, including those running the Chrome OS.

It’s something of a cliché to talk about the months flying by, how it seems like yesterday when everyone in Barcelona had a Nokia handset and the dancers on the CBOSS stand were all wearing full-length evening dresses. Yet it’s also true. Except for that part about the dancers, anyway.
