The Daily - the much-rumoured daily 'newspaper' for iPads - has been launched today by News Corporation.
The company describes it as 'the industry's first national daily news publication created from the ground up for iPad'.

A new research report from Berg Insight says the number of consumer electronics devices with embedded cellular connectivity (excluding mobile phones) grew to 22 million in 2010.
That’s double the 11 million mobile-enabled devices shipped worldwide in the previous year.

Google Latitude, the mobile location-tracking service that lets users share where they are, now offers the option of ‘checking in’ at a specific location.
It’s a feature that’s been introduced today on version 5.1 of Google Maps 5.1 for Android, with the iPhone app due to be updated shortly.
