Hands-free texting accessories coming from Motorola

Motorola Mobility has announced two new hands-free devices in its Elite Series of accessories.

The Motorola HZ800 Bluetooth headset and the Motorola TZ700 Bluetooth in-car speakerphone are both compatible with the company’s MotoSpeak2.0 application, which offers text-to-speech and speech-to-text technology allowing users to have their text messages read aloud and to dictate responses.

Bluetooth-controlled Mini Cooper arrives in time for Christmas

Could this be the must-have gift for mobile phone users this Christmas?

Wireless technology company BeeWi has launched a Mini Cooper 'radio controlled' car that works using Bluetooth via an Android or Symbian smartphone. The Mini Cooper can be controlled from the phone's touchscreen or by tilting and moving a handset that has a built-in accelerometer.

Mozilla Labs reveals Seabird mobile phone concept

Mozilla Labs – part of the community behind the Firefox web browser – has published details of a 'concept' mobile phone. The Seabird mobile phone was created by designer Billy May as part of the Mozilla Labs Concept Series. However, it's worth noting that Mozilla has no plans to diversify beyond software into hardware production – which means this particular design is unlikely to be manufactured.

Seabird's features include a projected keyboard and display, wireless charging and a slide-out Bluetooth headset that can also act as a 'wireless mouse' for the phone's screen.
