Quarterly figures from LG Electronics showed a net loss of 468 billion South Korean won (£272 million) for Q4 2012, although this included the results of an EU fine. Overall, LG made KRW 91 billion (£53 million) profit for the year.
Sales for the quarter were down 2.2% year-on-year to KRW 13.50 trillion.

No more 'Research In Motion'
After a slightly awkward start in the UK this morning, Research In Motion has launched its new BlackBerry 10 platform along with the first two compatible devices.
The BlackBerry Z10 is entirely touchscreen, while the BlackBerry Q10 combines a touchscreen with a traditional physical keyboard. Both run 1.5GHz dual-core processors and have 2GB of RAM plus 16GB of expandable storage.

Live TV and radio interviews. They can be worrying things, even when you’re not expecting to be challenged too much. I know this from experience. So when your company is launching a much-delayed operating system, you’d expect a few difficult questions… and you’d be ready with a response.
The official response of RIM is apparently to ignore the questions.
