LG has announced a new wireless mobile phone charger. It’s called the LG Wireless Charging Pad (WCP-700) and will be available in the USA next month for $69.99. UK availability and pricing aren’t known; in fact, LG hasn’t even said which devices it’ll work with.
The user simply puts a compatible mobile phone on the pad to charge it.
LG’s WCP-700 uses eCoupled wireless technology from Fulton Innovation and meets the Qi global standard from the Wireless Power Consortium.
