Sony Ericsson has revealed a new smartphone to join its Xperia range. The Xperia arc will run Android v2.3, includes an 8.1 megapixel camera, is just 8.7mm deep at its thinnest part and has an extra-wide 4.2-inch screen.
Bert Nordberg, President of Sony Ericsson said, “We’re starting strong in 2011 by introducing our most exciting Xperia product yet. Xperia arc combines state-of-the-art Sony technology with breathtaking design to entertain and wow consumers. All on the latest Android release.”
The company points out that the Xperia arc features Sony technology, including a ‘Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine’ and the ‘Exmor R for mobile’ camera sensor. It’ll be available later in Q1 2011.
