Ovivo Mobile appoints three new non-exec directors

Ad-supported UK mobile virtual network OVIVO Mobile has recently appointed three new non-executive directors.

PhotoBox co-founder and finance expert James Longley, advertising veteran Martin Smith and entrepreneur Tony Fish will be joining the company. They’ll work with founder Dariush Zand, who holds the role of CEO, and former Vodafone director David Jones, who’s chairman of OVIVO.

Dariush Zand said “I am flattered that James, Martin and Tony have agreed to put their time and reputation behind OVIVO. It speaks volumes for our prospects and I don’t believe that we could have chosen a better team. We are one of the only operators in the world to use a business model of this nature, where we focus on driving revenue from value added services, as opposed to from the service itself. All the while, we maintain a quality customer experience and, though the service is great value, we do not compromise on quality or care.”

We spoke to Dariush Zand, founder and CEO of Ovivo Mobile, in May last year. You can listen to the interview via the built-in audio player on our website or by downloading the MP3 file.
