Google has updated its Google Goggles mobile search application to include translation from English, French, Italian, German or Spanish into a range of languages. It's a service that was demonstrated earlier this year at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, although that version only worked with German text. Users can now point the camera on their Android-powered phone at a word or phrase and use Google Goggles to translate.

Google Goggles also offers image recognition, providing additional information about buildings, artwork, books, companies and product barcodes.
