Microsoft announces an internet-ready Nokia mobile phone for under £23

Microsoft has introduced two new Nokia-branded feature phones: the Nokia 215 and the Nokia 215 Dual-SIM. Pricing is expected to be $29 before taxes and subsidies (£19 excl. VAT; £22.80 incl VAT).

The Nokia 215 runs the Series 30+ operating system. It’s a one-piece design with a 2.4-inch colour screen and a numeric keypad below.

Features include the Opera Mini browser as well as Facebook and Messenger applications. There’s Bluetooth connectivity, an MP3 player, a camera and an FM radio as well.

Battery life is up to 29 days standby for the single-SIM Nokia 215, or up to 20 hours of talk time.

Availability is expected in the next few weeks in some countries across the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Europe.
