Huawei reveals Arsenal-branded version of Huawei Ascend P7 smartphone

Huawei has reinforced its position as the ‘Official Smartphone Partner of Arsenal FC’ by releasing an Arsenal-branded version of its Ascend P7 smartphone. The Huawei Ascend P7 Arsenal Edition smartphone has Arsenal FC’s club crest on the rear cover, Arsenal wallpaper images, a copy of the FIFA 14 mobile game and a clock app that’s based on the famous Arsenal ‘Clock End’ South Stand.

Other features are unchanged from the standard version: the 4G-capable Huawei Ascend P7 runs Android on a 1.8GHz quad-core processor and has a 5-inch full HD screen, 13 megapixel main camera and 8 megapixel front-facing camera.

Richard Ren, President of Huawei Consumer Business Group’s Western European Region, said “We are two powerful brands and this makes Huawei a great match for a club with the global stature of Arsenal. We are enjoying a really successful first six months as Arsenal’s Official Smartphone Partner and are excited to announce the exclusive Arsenal smartphone in time for the new Barclay’s Premier League season. We have a few surprises in the pipeline to make every Arsenal fan’s season the best ever, so watch this space.”

Go Gooners! Love this phone, love the badge.

Got the P7 http://consumer.huawei.com/minisite/worldwide/Ascend-P7/ but will get this one when it comes out.
