New smartphones and tablets from UK mobile brand KAZAM

Android and Windows Phone devices

London-based mobile phone producer KAZAM is showing a number of new devices at this year’s Mobile World Congress.

Announced today, the KAZAM Tornado 455L is a 4G LTE device with a 13 megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera. It runs Android 4.4 on a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and is equipped with a 5.5-inch display (protected by Gorilla Glass and KAZAM’s cracked screen replacement scheme).

In addition, last month KAZAM revealed the KAZAM Thunder 450W and 450WL, which run Windows Phone 8.1. Both have 5-inch (720 × 1280 pixel) displays and 8 megapixel front-facing cameras.

It’s also launched three Windows 8.1 tablets: the KAZAM L10, L8 and the L7. (The numbers refer to their respective screen sizes.) All have 1280 x 800 pixel displays, run on an Intel Atom quad-core processor and have expandable storage.

We spoke to Kazam co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer James Atkins in November 2013. You can listen to the interview on our website audio player or by downloading the mp3 file.
