The Microsoft Lumia 535, which is available in single SIM and dual SIM versions, is expected to cost just €110 excl. VAT (around £103 incl. VAT) when it goes on sale this month. UK availability hasn’t been confirmed.

Running Windows Phone 8.1 on a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, the Microsoft Lumia 535 offers a 5-inch qHD display, a 5 megapixel rear camera and a wide-angle 5 megapixel front-facing camera.

Jo Harlow, corporate vice president for Phones at Microsoft, said “Lumia 535 comes with our ‘5x5x5’ proposition. Innovation should be available to everyone, and we are doing this through the very best integrated Microsoft services included and out of the box, a 5MP wide-angle front-facing camera, and a spacious 5-inch qHD screen — all at an affordable price.”

Microsoft’s Lumia 535 will be available in black, cyan, green, grey, orange and white.
