Barclays is to offer free WiFi in over 1,500 of its UK bank branches, enabling customers and visitors to connect to the internet.

The service was initially trialled in three Barclays branches and has now been installed in over 800 banks. WiFi in the remaining Barclays branches will go live within the next few weeks.

Defence, aerospace and security company BAE Systems plc has formed a five-year partnership with Vodafone that’ll see them providing businesses with a range of communications security products and services.

In addition to this security partnership, BAE Systems is also moving its mobile services to Vodafone.

8 months ago I moved my main smartphone from Android to Windows Phone. I had entered a simpler world. There were less applications, no tethering option, voice dictation sucked and I couldn’t get a multi-SIM device. But overall I survived.

Then I started travelling more. I moved back to Android a few weeks ago... and what a disappointment.
