ZTE prepares first smartphone with NVIDIA Tegra and Icera processors

ZTE Corporation says it’ll launch the Mimosa X Android smartphone at Mobile World Congress next week.

It’ll be the first device powered by both the NVIDIA Tegra 2 mobile processor and the NVIDIA Icera HSPA+ modem.

ZTE plans two new LTE smartphones for Mobile World Congress

We don’t have 4G LTE in the UK yet - but it looks as though LTE is going to be one of the biggest themes at this year’s Mobile World Congress.

ZTE Corporation has announced plans to launch two new LTE handsets at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next week. Both will run Android v4.0.

Feature phone sales falling faster than expected, says report

The mobile phone market grew by 6.1% year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2011, according to the latest report from the International Data Corporation.

IDC’s Worldwide Mobile Phone Tracker revealed that 427.4 million mobile devices were shipped in Q4 2011, with the feature phone market declining faster than anticipated.
