LG Electronics has announced a new child-friendly mobile phone that’ll be available in South Korea from tomorrow, with a launch in North America and Europe planned for later this year.
The LG KizON is worn on a wrist band, allowing parents of pre-school and primary school children to track and call their offspring.

SGP Technologies, the joint venture between Silent Circle and Geeksphone, has announced that its Blackphone smartphones have started shipping to customers.
The privacy-focussed device, which was launched ahead of Mobile World Congress 2014, is based on the Android OS but also offers encrypted calls and encrypted text messaging.
