Vodafone and BAE partnership promises new mobile security solution

Defence, aerospace and security company BAE Systems plc has formed a five-year partnership with Vodafone that’ll see them providing businesses with a range of communications security products and services.

In addition to this security partnership, BAE Systems is also moving its mobile services to Vodafone.

Mobile broadband customers are happy to pay more if they get what they want

Mobile broadband customers want more value-added services to choose from and are willing to pay their network operator for personalisation across these extra services.

Those are some of the findings from a survey sponsored by mobile broadband specialist Tekelec.

Kaspersky Lab discovers Android malware that infects PCs

The securelist.com blog run by anti-virus specialists Kaspersky Lab has discovered a malicious Android app that targeted the user’s computer as well as their phone.

Consumers who downloaded an app called ‘Superclean’ or ‘DroidCleaner’ risked infecting their desktop computer with malware.
