1 in 7 European smartphone owners have shopped on their devices

New data from the comScore MobiLens service has shown how smartphones are increasingly associated with retail shopping in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom.

Overall, one in five European smartphone users had used their handset to access a retail web site, with more than a quarter of UK smartphone owners visiting retail web sites on their phones.

Tradedoubler integrates Apple Passbook mobile wallet into its marketing solutions

Tradedoubler has become the first affiliate network in the world to offer its UK clients a marketing solution that includes Apple’s Passbook application.

It’s worked with mobile wallet specialist Passforce to integrate Apple Passbook into its performance marketing programmes for Tesco, The Body Shop, Seatwave and eFlorist.
