ExclusiveTop tips in Mobile Device Management

David Akka writes:

The issue of choosing the right MDM solution has become more and more pressing, especially for companies implementing a Bring Your Own Device policy. The market place is becoming increasingly crowded with 50 or so vendors who now position themselves as MDMs. Some vendors offer application sharing, some multitenant management, other vendors have a heritage in security or a different strength all together. Ofcom, the UK's communications regulator, has published last year's customer satisfaction ratings for mobile networks.

Its annual report is based on a number of measures for the 12-month period until January 2020, including customer complaints received, perceived value for money and overall customer satisfaction.

The average satisfaction with overall mobile service was 93%, with just eight percentage points separating the top-rated (Tesco Mobile; 97%) and bottom-rated (Virgin Mobile; 89%) companies.

Average satisfaction with reception or signal strength was 85%, with Tesco Mobile ranked top at 92%. Tesco uses O2 to host its virtual mobile network, yet O2 was only rated at 85% by its customers.
