Some Intel security products for mobile devices will be free
Elements of McAfee mobile security products will become free for Apple iOS and Android devices, according to a statement made by Intel CEO Brian Krzanich at International CES 2014.
In addition, the McAfee name will be dropped as an online security brand, with future products becoming part of the new ‘Intel Security’ family.

EE has added a million new 4G customers to ‘4GEE’ tariffs on its UK network in just four months, doubling the first million it acquired within 10 months of launching the service.
That’s twice its target for 2013, giving EE the fastest 4G sign-up rate in the world outside of South Korea, according to the company’s calculations.

Eurotunnel has signed a 10-year agreement with EE and Vodafone that’ll make mobile phone services available to Eurostar and Le Shuttle passengers travelling from the UK to France.
A similar deal came into operation last year with French networks providing mobile coverage in the ‘South Tunnel’ that carries travellers from France to the UK.

Customers spent over $10 billion (£6 billion) in the Apple App Store last year, according to new figures from the company.
December 2013 was described as the most successful month in App Store history, with consumers spending over $1 billion and downloading almost three billion apps.
