Three new music phones from Nokia

Nokia has announced the Nokia 5730 XpressMusic, Nokia 5330 XpressMusic and Nokia 5030 mobile phones today. The Nokia 5730 has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and dedicated gaming keys, the Nokia 5330 has what Nokia calls an 'edgy' design - probably a pun, given its rounded corners and flat top - and the Nokia 5030 has a built-in FM aerial, so you don't need headphones to listen to the radio.

Palm Pre isn't going to dance on iPhone's grave

 The Guardian has a cautionary tale about an interview given by Palm board member and investor Roger McNamee. In a conversation on Bloomberg TV and on Bloomberg.com, Mr McNamee was understandably enthusiastic about the new Palm Pre. However, Palm has now felt obliged to 'correct' his somewhat obvious hyperbole - which has rather taken the edge off the interview.
