The O2 More advertising service, which sends marketing messages to O2 UK subscribers, now has more than a million customers. O2 More launched in December 2009, less than a year ago. Customers who opt-in receive SMS and MMS messages from O2 More clients, including Adidas, Cadbury and NatWest.

The finalists of the Vodafone Mobile Clicks 2010 competition have been announced today. Vodafone Mobile Clicks, which ends with a final at the PICNIC Festival in the Netherlands on 24th September, aims to find the best mobile internet startup. Last year's winner was augmented reality browser Layar.

Three UK has updated its 'pay as you go' tariffs with a new package called All in One. The company has described it as a "market beating plan that unites the value of contract with the flexibility of PAYG", although rival network operator giffgaff has disputed its claim about value.

On Tuesday, Nokia World witnessed the launch of three new phones (and much talk about the coming-very-soon Nokia N8). Elsewhere, LG revealed two new Android-powered handsets; the LG Optimus One and LG Optimus Chic. Both run Android 'Froyo' version 2.2; the Optimus One will arrive in Europe from October, while the Optimus Chic will follow in November.
