Nokia has appointed Rajeev Suri as its new President and CEO with effect from 1st May.
Since October 2009 he’s been CEO of NSN, the former joint venture between Nokia and Siemens that’s now wholly Nokia-owned.

Nokia has sold most of its Devices & Services business to Microsoft, as originally announced in September last year. The deal also includes an agreement to license patents to Microsoft.
Although the deal was originally worth €5.44 billion (£4.48 billion), Nokia says it now expects the total transaction price to be slightly higher than this.

Nokia has issued a statement about its mobile phone deal with Microsoft, which was first revealed seven months ago in September 2013.
It says the €5.44 billion sale is expected to be completed on 25th April 2014.

Nokia has advised UK customers with a Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet NOT to use the AC-300 mains charger or optional travel charger any more.
It says it’s possible for the plastic cover of the plug to become loose, which could expose live wires inside.
