AT&T's three-year exclusive hold on the Apple iPhone in the United States will end next month.
Verizon Wireless is to stock the iPhone 4 from 10th February, with existing customers able to pre-order from 3rd February.

Former 'trolley bus' driver Aiden Quinn has pleaded guilty to gross negligence following a May 2009 crash in Boston that injured more than 60 people. It’s alleged he was distracted by sending a text message from his mobile phone. The crash is said to have caused $10 million of damage.

While the transatlantic tech press have been intrigued by the will-they-won’t-they story of Google apparently offering up to $6 billion for the two-year-old company, most of the UK has been wondering what the fuss is about.

RingGo, which is used for around three-quarters of all the UK’s pay-by-phone parking, has acquired US-based iControl Mobile. It’ll trade under the iControl name for a short while before moving to the RingGo brand.
