The Phone Co-op - described as the UK’s only telecommunications co-operative - has become the only UK mobile telecom provider to stock the Fairphone ethical smartphone.
It’s offering the handset with no initial charge on ‘pay monthly’ contracts costing from £22 incl. VAT per month.
Mobile payment service Zapp has announced partnerships with a number of UK retailers ahead of an anticipated launch next year.
Asda, Sainsbury’s, House of Fraser and Shop Direct have all said they aim to allow the smartphone-based Zapp payment process from 2015.

Second generation of the Tesco hudl tablet
Tesco has announced the successor to its hudl tablet, which is now a year old.
The new hudl2 has a larger screen, a faster processor and a choice of eight colours.
