Google has confirmed that it its next-generation product team - Google X - is working on a ‘head-up display’.
The device could look like a pair of glasses that would superimpose relevant information on the lenses, from weather forecasts and directions to search results.

Last November, Research In Motion announced its move into the multi-platform Mobile Device Management marketplace. BlackBerry Mobile Fusion was designed to help organisations manage a combination of smartphones and tablets running BlackBerry, Android and Apple iOS operating systems.
The service was launched as a closed beta and this week has been made available to all RIM enterprise customers.

Ofcom has published new proposals designed to simplify calls to ‘non-geographic’ numbers. The proposals are designed to resolve confusion about how much it costs to call organisations that use UK telephone numbers beginning with 03, 08, 09 and 118.
If they become law, calls to 0800 telephone numbers would be free from all fixed-line and mobile phones in the UK.

Sony Mobile Communications has announced that Kunimasa ‘Kuni’ Suzuki will become President and CEO of Sony Mobile from 16th May 2012.
Bert Nordberg, the current President and CEO, will step down from these roles to become Chairman of the Sony Mobile Communications board.
