Tesco Mobile rated top for mobile satisfaction in 2019

Ofcom, the UK's communications regulator, has published last year's customer satisfaction ratings for mobile networks.

Its annual report is based on a number of measures for the 12-month period until January 2020, including customer complaints received, perceived value for money and overall customer satisfaction.

The average satisfaction with overall mobile service was 93%, with just eight percentage points separating the top-rated (Tesco Mobile; 97%) and bottom-rated (Virgin Mobile; 89%) companies.

Average satisfaction with reception or signal strength was 85%, with Tesco Mobile ranked top at 92%. Tesco uses O2 to host its virtual mobile network, yet O2 was only rated at 85% by its customers.
