Over half of UK users are 'unhappy' with mobile broadband speeds

A new poll of over 1,500 people by UK comparison website Broadband Genie has found that most users are unhappy with the speed of their mobile broadband connection. In fact, just 5.3% of users said they were definitely happy with their mobile broadband speed.

A further 15.8% described it as OK, while 56.8% said they were unhappy.

PlayStation Vita will be pre-loaded with a Vodafone SIM card

The forthcoming PlayStation Vita gaming device will be supplied with a Vodafone SIM card in selected countries when it launches next February.

A new partnership with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe means that Vodafone will be the ‘preferred provider’ of 3G connectivity for the 3G+WiFi version of the PS Vita in the UK, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Australia, New Zealand and the Netherlands.

More than half of us have watched TV or films on phones and tablets

Over half of all of UK consumers have watched television or movies on mobile devices.

That’s one of the findings from new research published by video service management specialists QuickPlay Media.
