T-Mobile USA drops annual contracts and becomes an 'un-carrier'

T-Mobile USA - the nation’s fourth-largest mobile network operator - has dropped annual contracts and is instead moving to a single ‘unlimited’ monthly tariff.

The news came as the company also launched its 4G LTE service in the United States.

Updated Flipboard app lets readers curate and share their own digital magazines

Flipboard, which originally launched as a mobile application that let users turn their social media feeds and favourite websites into a personal digital magazine, is now helping people share those magazines.

The updated iPad and iPhone app enables readers to save news stories, videos and photos in a personal magazine that can then be shared with other people.

Three UK has more than 9 million customers

Annual results from Hutchison Whampoa have revealed that customer numbers at Three UK have exceeded 9 million.

That’s an 11% increase - 900,000 new customers - since the end of 2011.
