ExclusiveOnly a third of smartphone data sessions are started manually

Most smartphone data sessions are started without the user noticing, according to a new report from mobile network analytics and optimisation specialists Actix.

It’s studied information from eight network operators across four continents and has found that only 30% of data sessions are user initiated.

ExclusiveBlackBerry World now holds more than 100,000 mobile applications

BlackBerry says more than 30,000 new applications for the BlackBerry 10 platform have been added to its BlackBerry World app store in the past seven weeks, which means there are now more than 100,000 apps available.

The BlackBerry 10 platform was announced on 30th January, along with the Z10 and Q10 smartphones.
