Most smartphone data sessions are started without the user noticing, according to a new report from mobile network analytics and optimisation specialists Actix.
It’s studied information from eight network operators across four continents and has found that only 30% of data sessions are user initiated.

BlackBerry says more than 30,000 new applications for the BlackBerry 10 platform have been added to its BlackBerry World app store in the past seven weeks, which means there are now more than 100,000 apps available.

Google has announced a new note-taking service called Google Keep, which is currently available as an Android application and via the web.
The company describes it as an online equivalent of ‘sticky notes’.
