According to a new survey from ABI Research, 73% of countries with 4G mobile services have seen the ‘price per megabyte’ of 4G data fall by an average of 30% in the past six months.
The lowest price for 4G data is currently in India, while the highest price - $67.80 (£43) for 5GB - is in the UAE.

Back in December, Three UK had an advertisement banned by the Advertising Standards Authority because it hadn’t explained the possibility of monthly charges rising during a fixed-term mobile phone contract - and now Vodafone’s web site has been hit in the same way.
A tariff promoted as costing “from just £10.50 a month” caused a complaint from a member of the public who pointed out that the monthly price could be increased during the contract.

Three UK says it’ll be adding 4G connectivity to all its existing price plans and won’t be charging any extra for the faster service.
Customers with a compatible phone will be able to enjoy a 4G connection from Three as soon as it is available.
BT has launched a new application that’ll let its fixed-line customers use an Apple iPhone for calls, with charges added to their home account. The SmartTalk app is free and will work over WiFi or a mobile data connection.
Calls made via the app - whether in the UK or abroad - are billed as if the user was calling from their BT home phone.
