Hot on the heels of Orange’s Mobile WiFi device arriving in the UK, its partner T-Mobile has launched its own mobile WiFi product. It’s called the T-Mobile Wireless Pointer and is free on a two-year £15 per month contract.

1.35 million UK customers using T-Mobile and Orange have taken advantage of the network sharing scheme introduced earlier this month by parent company Everything Everywhere. When a customer loses signal on their chosen network, they automatically pick up the signal from the other network where it's available.

Everything Everywhere, the company that manages the Orange and T-Mobile UK networks, will turn six of its mobile phone stores into dual-branded shops before Christmas. Three T-Mobile shops will have Orange branding added, with three Orange shops being rebranded to include the T-Mobile name. Both brands will be given equal prominence on the external signage.
