New focus on 'connected devices'
Mozilla has said it’ll stop producing smartphones based on its Firefox operating system. However, it will continue its research into other connected devices.

Specifications and pricing for the BlackBerry Priv have now been revealed.
Consumers are being offered the handset directly from BlackBerry with a UK SIM-free price of £559 incl. VAT or on a contract from Carphone Warehouse. It’s due to be available later this month.

The Apple Watch, originally announced in September last year, is to go on sale in Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, the UK and the USA from Friday 24th April.
It’s a companion device for customers with an Apple iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus.

Device detection specialist 51Degrees has worked with The Away Foundation to demonstrate the relative popularity of mobile handset manufacturers around the world.
They’ve created an interactive globe that can be viewed from almost any web browser, including smartphones and tablets.
