T-Mobile UK has changed its mind on its mobile data policy. On Monday it announced that it would be reducing its 'Fair Use Policy' for mobile data usage to 500MB a month for all mobile phone customers from February.
However, it now says the changes will only be introduced to new and upgrading customers.

The WML (Wireless Markup Language) version of the BBC Mobile website has been closed this week, bringing an end to the BBC's WAP presence after ten years.
The corporation says WML traffic has fallen from 20% of its mobile web usage two years ago to less than 1% today.

Orange has launched a service called Pocket Landline that enables smaller businesses to have a fixed-line telephone number working on a mobile phone. It enables customers to have a location-specific number without the need for an office presence.
