Vodafone UK is now offering free text updates to and from micro-blogging website Twitter (with a 'fair usage' limit of 500 texts per month). Sending SMS updates to Twitter will only be free of charge for a few weeks before standard charges are introduced, although text message updates sent from Twitter will remain free of charge.
