Net sales for Q1 2012 were down 29% year-on-year to €7.354 billion, while the Q1 2011 operating profit of €439 million has become a €1.34 billion loss this quarter.

Wireless technology business Qualcomm Incorporated has announced results for the second quarter of its current financial year.
Revenue was up 28% year-on-year to $4.94 billion, while net income was up 123% year-on-year to $2.23 billion.

Barclaycard, part of Barclays Retail and Business Banking, has launched a new way for UK customers to pay with their mobile phones. It’s called Barclaycard PayTag and is effectively a small NFC credit card that can be stuck to the back of a mobile handset.
The sticker will operate as an additional card on a Barclaycard customer’s existing account.
