Opera Software will be revealing a new browser for tablet devices at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) this week. It’s describing the new browser for tablets as ‘the smoothest tablet and netbook experience on the market’.

Former 'trolley bus' driver Aiden Quinn has pleaded guilty to gross negligence following a May 2009 crash in Boston that injured more than 60 people. It’s alleged he was distracted by sending a text message from his mobile phone. The crash is said to have caused $10 million of damage.

Apple iPhone users have suffered from a problem with non-repeating alarms in 2011. Users with iOS4 have reported that one-off alarms haven’t worked on 1st and 2nd January, although Apple says all alarms will work properly again from 3rd January.
