Last year Sony Ericsson announced its GreenHeart mobile phone concept, which was designed to focus its new product development on environmental sustainability. Then, six months ago, came the Sony Ericsson C901 and Naite mobile phones, which had e-manuals, smaller packaging, recycled plastics, a low-power charger and 'green' applications.
Now the company has announced two new GreenHeart phones and its first GreenHeart accessory. The phones are the Sony Ericsson Elm and the Sony Ericsson Hazel, whist the accessory is the Bluetooth Noise Shield Handsfree VH700.
As O2 UK announces its successful 4G LTE trial, TeliaSonera is launching commercial 4G LTE services to customers in Sweden and Norway – which it says makes it the first network operator in the world to offer a commercial 4G service.
The services cover the central city areas of Stockholm and Oslo and will be used for mobile data.
