Ribbit – a California-based company bought by BT last year – has announced the beta release of Ribbit Mobile. It’s a cloud-based service that lets users manage calls and messages on mobile, fixed-line and VoIP phones. For example, users can ‘merge’ multiple phones, route mobile calls to other phones and answer their mobile calls on the internet. Voicemail messages can be listened to or transcribed to text.
