It's called mobileDNA and gives businesses the chance to send targeted offers and vouchers to mobile phone users.

Sandwich franchise Subway has launched a discount voucher scheme within the O2 More 'You Are Here' location-based advertising service.
Customers who've opted-in to receive marketing information will receive a MMS message when they're near a Subway store. The message will offer a discount and will contain a square barcode - a QR code - that can be scanned by store staff.

HTC Corporation has promoted Jason Mackenzie to the newly-created position of president for global sales and marketing. He'll continue in his current role as president of HTC North America and Latin America until a replacement is announced.
Mr Mackenzie will report directly to CEO Peter Chou.

Everything Everywhere, Telefonica UK and Vodafone UK have announced plans to create a standalone m-commerce joint venture. It'll combine the expertise from Orange, T-Mobile, O2 and Vodafone to speed the development and delivery of new mobile marketing and payment services.
Subject to regulatory clearance, the joint venture will provide a single point of contact for advertisers, marketing partners, retailers and banks. It's aiming to launch by the end of 2011.

Orange has announced a new UK partnership with online voucher site Vouchercloud, giving its mobile phone customers at least eight exclusive discount offers every month.
The discounts can be claimed through the Vouchercloud iPhone/Android app, as a premium-rate text message or via the Vouchercloud website.
