Branding consultancy Interbrand has released the 12th version of its Best Global Brands report. Once again, Coca-Cola is rated as the world’s most-valuable brand at $71,861 million (around £46.5 billion).
In fact, the top seven brands remain in the same places as they did in 2010; after Coca-Cola comes IBM, then Microsoft, Google, GE, McDonald’s and Intel.

Mobile consumer interaction and payment specialist mBlox has revealed a new vision and corporate identity.
It’s broadened its previous position as the “world’s largest mobile transaction network” to include real-time campaign analysis, including information about a consumer’s location and mobile device.

O2 More, the personalised mobile marketing service operated by O2 Media, now has six million customers.
It’s reached the figure just six months after passing the two million mark. The company also notes that 93% of people open its messages within five minutes of receiving them.

Mobile media company Blyk says Chief Commercial Officer Eric Kip has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer.
Blyk co-founder Pekka Ala-Pietilä, who’s stepping down after five years of running the business, will continue as the company’s chairman.
